First of all, we have new chickens; two Rhode Island Reds. They are about a year old and laying. A bit more shy than our original chix were, although, those were Delawares which I heard were a little more relaxed then Reds. Alas, this time around the Reds were all that were available from my chicken guy (Harley Soltes in Kingston).

Secondly, I have decided to turn our old clothes into rag rugs, starting with my old uniforms....
First one will be white and black and will go by the tub in the bathroom.

Here is a video of Antoinette doing "kettle bell" swings with a burlap rice sack. This was after she ran her butt off outside for a while so.... :)

OH MY GOSH~!!!! wow......I'm so very impressed.....grab some of her sweaters waiting to be made into pillows.....seriously.....I'll buy one of the rugs....and PLEASE show me how to do this when you come down this summer....I see Alissa wants to learn too....a fun class maybe...?
